Community Education Offering
New Programs
The Frankenmuth Community Education Program
has a long history of providing programs for all.
On January 15, the newly developed "8th Hour," an
after school academic and enrichment program, will
begin its second session. The program is designed
for students in elementary through high school and
enables students to excel, get extra assistance or
embark on a new pursuit. 8th Hour runs in four-week
sessions. The final block will begin on March 5.
We are excited to share a series of classes aimed at
the youngest community members. The "Little Ones"
classes are designed for children ranging from ages
12 months to 5 years. On November 1, we begin with
a music/activity class "Music and Play, My Caretaker
and Me" which is aimed at connecting the caretaker
and child through music, movement and play for
children. The "Preschool Builders Club" sparks young
children's natural curiosity in science, and the "Mini
Steps" program introduces children to movement
and music.
