Emergency Notifications Are you registered to receive emergency notifications through the Saginaw County Emergency notification system? If you are not signed up (and you may not be) please visit this link: muth.life/saginaw-emergency This allows you to register up to three phone numbers. We are able to access this system to send general alerts to all of the City, and/or to specific areas like a neighborhood or block. But it only works if we have people registered. We realized how important that is during the boil water advisory. Please encourage everyone you know to register. There is also a link on the City's website, frankenmuthcity.com, under the "residents" tab. Secondly, there is an additional alert system on the City's website that you can sign up for. This is more lower level emergencies, like a water main break, road closure, trash delay. You can register by visiting frankenmuthcity.com/enotify/index.php, then select the button for emergency and alert updates. If you have issues in registering for either system, please stop in to the City or call us so we can assist you. Notes from the City Frankenmuth is a wonderful place to live and work. Take note of the following alerts, programs and updates from the City of Frankenmuth. Home Watch Program If you are going on vacation or plan to be away from your home for an extended period of time, the Frankenmuth Police Department's free Home Watch Program can give you peace of mind. Officers will conduct periodic exterior checks while you are away, monitoring your property. Enlisting the police department to keep an eye out for suspicious activity while you are away from home does not guarantee against loss, theft, damage or mischief but it can be a useful deterrent to anyone who may be targeting your home for criminal purposes. Forms are located in the police department's lobby or at www.muth.life/home-watch 4
