FESTIVALS & EVENTS BAVARIAN EASTER CELEBRATION APRIL 5 - MAY 5 SPRING A century-old tradition from upper Franconia, Germany is celebrated in Michigan's Lile Bavaria with elaborate Easter displays known as Osterbrunnen. If you're looking for a seasonal tour around Easter, this is great event for guests who want to stroll through town. BRINGIN' BACK THE 80'S APRIL 26-27 This is your chance to relive the 1980's with outrageous cover bands, a look-a-like contest, memorabilia, a breakdancing show and more. Proceeds go to cancer related causes. This festival can sell out, so expect a crowd, buy your tickets in advance, and get there early. WORLD EXPO OF BEER MAY 17-18 Michigan's largest international beer sampling event with over 150 beers and alternative beverages from breweries around the world. If planning a tour around this festival, book well in advance as hotels fill up early on. BALLOONS OVER BAVARIAN INN MAY 24-26 Hot air balloons take flight over Frankenmuth with morning and evening competitions. Nightly balloon glow. Great FREE event for the whole family. Parking can be difficult to find in the aernoon during this festival. Come early, or look in the back of Zehnder's Restaurant lot before parking anywhere else. DOG BOWL MAY 25-26 An olympic style event... all about dogs! Dock dog diving, disc dogs, agility, Wiener dog races, shows, vendors and canine cruises.
