Scholarships for Education The Frankenmuth School District Foundation collects and distributes funds to improve the educational opportunities for students. We aim to supplement their resources to develop students' academic talents and intellectual capabilities. Each year students apply for scholarships to assist with funding of tuition or program fees for enrichment activities that are not available in our setting at school. With the foundation scholarships, students have participated in Science Camps, Computer Engineering Workshops, and even Civil Engineering Summer Camps expanding their views of their passions, while in a fun location. Aidan Maki received a scholarship to attend the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp where he had an opportunity to make new friends as well as further his skill level for band. Even though he was an 8th grader at the time, the summer activities prepared him to play with the high school jazz band while still at the middle school. Applications may be picked up at the offices of List, Rittmueller Middle School and the High School. They must be returned to the Frankenmuth School District Office, the main office at List Elementary or Rittmueller Middle School, or the guidance office at the High School no later than Wednesday, March 18 at 4:00pm. 989-652-0764 www.crcounseling.org "We unite the presence of Jesus Christ and the healing power of God's Word with professional counseling in addressing the conflicts of life."
