With so much information at our fi ngertips, when guests are traveling, they want to get information quickly, then get back to their trip! This past year, we developed a map that was on a tear-off pad, allowing visitors to take it and go. We printed 30,000 of these maps; 300 pads of 100. We also printed our popular standalone rack map at 50,000 copies. Both were available to visitors upon arrival at lodging properties and at the Visitor Center. We had the opportunity to work with Joanna Kappes as part of our Gunzenhausen Sister City German Exchange Student Program. She spent a whole month with us learning more about Frankenmuth and greeting guests at the Visitor Center. Frankenmuth had a number of displays around the state this year, encouraging visitors who are stopping at Welcome Centers to take a detour to Michigan's Little Bavaria. Our displays were seen at the Clare Welcome Center January thru April 2019, October thru December 2019, and in Dundee in July 2019.
