14 Even with the Stay Home, Stay Safe order, the City of Frankenmuth is proud of the efforts and extra precautions it took to continue to provide necessary public services. We also want to take this time to thank our employees and their families. We have asked our team to work differently and it hasn't been easy. As we move in to a new way of delivering services to our residents and businesses, we want to share how we are doing things and how you can help us continue to provide the high quality services you expect. While we are fully staffed and ready to serve you, we would prefer you call, visit with us virtually, and only physically come to the office if it's essential. If you can leave information in the drop box, conduct business online or over the phone, please do so. Tax payments can be made at our offices or at the Frankenmuth Credit Union. While every department is operating, we are asking that you call first – especially if you need to meet someone at the Department of Public Works and Water Department or the Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF). Our offices are small and they have taken some extraordinary measures to ensure they can operate safely. ONLINE If you visit frankenmuthcity.com, you will find a special news announcement that says, "Online City Services." The information here will provide you with directions as to how to access City services virtually. This includes having your water bill emailed to you, requesting an absentee ballot, even reporting a problem with a street light. Please continue to use these services so that we can be efficient in our service delivery. Accessing City Services Due to Covid-19, the City's Flower Crew is operating from a remote office and is using bikes for transportation to ensure we are working safely. Here's how to contact your City services. Remember, please call before visiting. ? DROP BOXES The City has two drop boxes – one at the driveway you can access by vehicle and one in the vestibule at the entrance on the east side of the building. If you have essential business, the office is open to the public but restricted. There is a doorbell installed inside the vestibule for you to alert us that you have essential business. Township residents should use the same system to access Township Officials and offices.
