Celeating 75 years! Celeating 75 years! In 1945, Wally Bronner started his small sign painting business in the basement of his parents' home in Frankenmuth. Bronner's first store was built in 1954. Wally's father was a skilled mason and the contractor for the store, and he did much of the construction work personally. In 1963, an expansion was added to the original store. Bronner's Tannenbaum Shop, located across the street from the original store, opened in 1966. Bronner's Bavarian Corner opened in 1971. It was adjacent to Bronner's original store, and was formerly Wally's Aunt Hattie Hubinger's grocery store. Celeating 75 years! Celeating 75 years! Bronner's first store was built in 1954.
