In March of 2020, people across Michigan felt the change the COVID-19 pandemic had on our state, country, and world. Schools closed, sending kids back home earlier than planned. Businesses shut their doors to help flatten the curve and workers made the transition to work from home. For some, this was an easy lifestyle change. For those without internet or other means of connectivity, these shifts in daily life had a big impact on their lives. Because Air Advantage is a small, local company, we were able to move faster and adjust quickly to fit the specific broadband needs of our community. We are sourcing needed equipment from backed up supply chains to balance the frequent back orders with customer demand. Throughout the pandemic and beyond, Air Advantage continues the process of upgrading our towers to the most state-of-the-art fixed wireless service available today.
