While we continue to have a couple really big projects for the organization, the goals this year were presented by department or position so that each area may grow and evolve simultaneously. Overall, we intend to focus on expansion of our recent successes as well as remain flexible and prepared to meet the changing needs of our members & community. Some high level focus points include ongoing bias and racial conversations and educational opportunities along with working on destination development projects that will help prepare our community and destination for the next generation of residents and guests. Goals F O R 2 0 2 0 - 2 0 2 1 18 SALES Enhance services provided to incoming groups Evolve group sales approach with changing environment COMMUNITY RELATIONS Grow event organizer collaborations Capitalize on new Muth Serves portal Assist with Community Projects (Christmas, Water Trail, Sports, Experience Lab) MARKETING Enhance new website with constant changes & outdoor expansion Establish marketing services for non-tourism members Focus advertising with reduced marketing budget Increase PR with news stories about destination developments COMMUNICATION Enhance local communication via Frankenmuth Living efforts Continued communication with video messaging to members MEMBERSHIP & PROGRAMS Evolve Education and Networking programs given new environment Grow business engagement in the Frankenmuth Certified Program Improve offerings via the investment menu and new review process VISITOR CENTER Plan for Visitor Center remodel Develop new training program for guest service representatives Work with North Main business group on special initiatives such as transportation & signage
