depends how you measure success. I can confidently say, it was a year in which I'm incredibly proud for Frankenmuth. Our community didn't sit and wait for it to pass, we got to work and made the best of it. We celebrated the good work we were able to accomplish despite the challenges of 2020. The Chamber & CVB added 28 new members during the last year. You can find all our Chamber members in the Directory at the second half of this publication. Our businesses are grateful for the local support and it was recognized this year more than ever. We look to the future with optimism as we strive to continue evolving with the environment around us and building upon some of the great successes of last year with programs, such as the Christmas Experience and other new development ideas that are still being researched. We are anxious to once again be able to host some events in person for our members who rely on the Chamber for networking and business social opportunities. We also recognized our City's wonderful leadership: City Manager Bridget Smith and Mayor MaryAnne Ackermann, for their rapid response with the Community Task Force when Covid-19 struck. The Task Force provided leaders from many organizations, including all of the churches, an opportunity to work together to address the changing needs of the community throughout the pandemic. It was an incredible asset to learn, share information, and put action to issues. It provided consistency for many leaders in the community at a time when there was great uncertainty. The Chamber & CVB is grateful and honored to work with such fine community partners. Together, we prosper!
