We've got an app for that! As we wrap up our fiscal year the Frankenmuth CVB has many new missions ahead. On June 4 – 6, 2013 we will be hosting a sales mission in Ohio to see some of our motorcoach and senior center clients. We will have the opportunity to talk to some of our existing clients as well as meet some new prospects. Zehnder's, Bavarian Inn Lodge, and our Marriott properties will also be attending in this first time sales mission event. In August, we will be hosting a Motorcoach FAM. This year we have invited a planning committee to help plan this event. We had our first meeting on May 24th and had some great ideas to make this event memorable to all our motorcoach planners. On our meeting side we have some great events that will be promoting Frankenmuth. We will be exhibiting at the Meetings Michigan Expo and attending a networking event with Michigan Meeting Professionals International – Celebration Annual Event. We will be attending the annual education conference with Michigan Society of Association Executives. In June we will be attending a new conference that markets to international travelers. We will be participating with the Circle Michigan exhibit booth for this national event and Pure Michigan branding will be a great presence with the outstanding marketing they have done. We expect that will be expanded internationally as they have done such a great job nationally. As always, we will continue our networking events with our state meeting organizations. I would also like to mention that this May the Michigan Chapter of Society of Governmental Meeting Professionals won the Presidential Award at the National Conference. Michelle Milligan is the President of this organization and has made great strides with this Association. It was quite an honor for Michigan to win this award as it makes us proud to be a member of such a fine organization! We are excited to unveil our new and improved Frankenmuth App. First launched in January 2010, our app was a trailblazer in mobile marketing.
