12 FRANKENMUTH.ORG Chstmastime in Frannmuth The most wonderful time of the year! When Wally Bronner started his sign painting business in 1945, who knew that it would develop into the world's largest Christmas store, Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland, where guests flock to all year round? This staple, found at the south entrance to Frankenmuth, put our little town of just 5,000 residents on the map when it comes to the holiday season. Starting in early November, guests can enjoy the twinkle of Christmas when the lights come on every day at dusk across the two square miles of the city. Frankenmuth turns into a life-sized snow globe with a magnificent Christmas tree at the center, lit with 23,000 lights. In true Frankenmuth fashion, our tree is more than just lights – it's a musical holiday show! The changing colors and sweet sound of the holidays will have you rockin' around the Christmas tree. Don't worry about catching the show, you can enjoy this holiday spectacular several times each day. From Santa visits around town, reindeer sightings at Grandpa Tiny's Farm, shopping for the perfect gifts at the ChristKindlMarkt, and browsing local boutiques, there are holiday experiences for every age. You can even write a letter to Santa at the Frankenmuth Visitor's Center – we'll be sure it is sent priority mail to the North Pole! Don't forget to capture Christmastime in Frankenmuth by taking a holiday photo at one of our expertly decorated holiday stops. It's safe to say that the Christmas magic in Frankenmuth shines a little brighter. These magical moments created in Michigan's Little Bavaria during the most wonderful time of the year are sure to turn into memories that last a lifetime. TRAVEL TIP: Cozy up in the car with your family while enjoying our Christmas lights driving tour, taking you around to the biggest and brightest displays in the city.
