33 #Frankenmuth 1-800-FUN-TOWN 33 When you get back into town from a tour or extended time away, aside from home, what is the first stop? There are many places we like to visit when we're in town. Prost Wine Bar & Charcuterie, The Station 100, and Slo' Bones are all favorite stops for great dining. The Frankenmuth House of Cigar Ashes & Ales, Harvest Coffee House, and Bead Haven are among other favorite stops. Ultimately, a kayak down the Cass River is time best spent back home. Have you ever performed in Frankenmuth? We have performed at the historical Fischer Hall many times throughout our upbringing in Frankenmuth. It was the first venue we had ever performed in, and those memories have a profoundly significant place in our hearts. Give us three words describing Frankenmuth. Picturesque. Charming. Humble. How did growing up in Frankenmuth, a small, mid-western town, influence your musical style and taste? Growing up in Frankenmuth certainly had a lasting impression, both in the way we choose to live by love everyday and also how we share that spirit with the world in music. Just outside of town, we explored many artistic interests, one of which happened to be particularly loud. Frankenmuth and its countryside symbolize to us a cradle of wonderment. We discovered a sort of self-liberation there, turning us onto the spaces of creation. And, our hometown was always more fun. What is your favorite thing about Frankenmuth? The overwhelming comfort we feel when we come home. There's nothing quite like returning to the place you grew up filled with the people you love. Are there any places you've encountered in your travels that remind you of your hometown? Berlin is not only one of our favorite cities to visit, but is also reminiscent of Frankenmuth. There's something familiar about the warmth of the people and the whimsical architecture that makes us feel at home. What's a little known tidbit about Frankenmuth that not many people know? Friday Fun Nights. What do you hope never changes about Frankenmuth? Its flair for fun, its heritage, small businesses, and a sense of community. FANS, GEAR UP!
