There wasn't a world famous Christmas store or family style chicken dinners. And while there may not have been the things we all enjoy today, there was courage. Courage to take the dangerous journey across the ocean to an unknown land. Courage to be entrepreneurs and missionaries. Courage that can still be seen today, especially at Christmastime, through the hard work and dedication of our local businesses, churches, and residents. The Frankenmuth Christmas Experience started as a plan in 2020 to help make Christmastime in Frankenmuth extra special during a year when we all needed a little extra joy. It has since turned into a community wide rally to bring the magic of Christmas to the locals, surrounding communities, and visitors all season long. The new additions, decorations, events, and magic would not be possible without the support of our local business community. They have spent countless dollars and hours, working to make sure that the traditions of Christmastime carry on and that new traditions are made along the way. It is our deepest hope that this Christmas season you and your family take the time to enjoy the magic of Christmas in Frankenmuth; whether it's a lap around the shiny new ice rink, a few minutes to enjoy the carols at the Tree, or a drive around town to check out the sparkling lights. As you enjoy the season, remember that there is courage around every corner. Every light you see, song you hear, and moment you experience, is here because someone had the courage to make it happen.
