In preparing for this year's guide,
and the year ahead, we wanted to level set
with our loyal and new visitors alike about the
challenges the COVID-19 pandemic has created.
These past two years have been difficult
to say the least; for many of you reading
this, you have lost loved ones, seen
your favorite businesses close their
doors for good, or have felt uncertainty,
loneliness, and frustration among many
other emotions.
While each of us have been facing our
own battles and difficulties, our business
community here in Frankenmuth, across
Michigan, and much of the United States,
have also struggled. Beginning with the
voluntary closing to slow the spread
of COVID-19, many are now facing a
worker shortage like never before while
managing crowds and pent-up demand
for travel.
We are thrilled to be able to welcome
many of you back to Michigan's Little
Bavaria; festivals are back, fun is back,
and we're hopeful we're heading in the
right direction.
