32 MIDDLE-AGED BABES Too old for "baby things" but not yet old enough to drive, these middle-aged kids are right up our ally. Kids and horses go together like, well, Frankenmuth and chicken. Take the kids on a horse drawn carriage ride and it's sure to be a highlight of the trip. Or stop at Grandpa Tiny's Farm to see all of the animals. Did you know? The Frankenmuth Funships offer one hour boat tours up and down the Cass River while pairing Michigan wines with house made chocolates. Did you also know they pair juice and chocolate for the kids? Definitely a two-birds, one-stone kind of activity (wink, wink). Speaking of birds, take a ride down the Cass River on the Bavarian Belle Riverboat and feed the ducks that are sure to be there waiting. Leave the devices at home, or at least in the room and visit one of the three arcade rooms we have in Frankenmuth. Located at the Bavarian Inn Lodge in the Family Fun Center, Zehnder's Splash Village, and the Cass River Bar and Grill arcade room located in River Place Shops. For the record, Slo Bones BBQ serves good old Kraft Mac n Cheese that will please your blue box conissouer. Outfit disaster? Adorn Boutique has an adorable baby clothes section. Located across the street from the Frankenmuth Funships. BABIES, TODDLERS Parents of babies and toddlers, you are our favorite kind of visitor. We know you need a break in the worst possible way. Bottles and diapers galore, just looking for five minutes to yourself. Check out these activities to keep your little ones entertained, for at least two minutes: Get away from the crowds, visit one of the many public playgrounds; Heritage Park has two playgrounds, both well equipped with swing sets, slides and plenty of room. Another great stop is the Jaycee Spray Park located behind Frankenmuth High School. The Bavarian Inn Lodge or Zehnder's Splash Village, both have great water park features and pools specifically designed for waddlers and toddlers. BONUS: Zehnder's Splash Village sells day passes if the thought of doing an overnight with your baby is out of the question. Experience an outdoor fairy garden by Enchanted Forest. Be enchanted by a beautiful, mystical garden village with fairies, dragons, and gnomes. Visit a real-life Candyland, kind of, at the newly renovated Taffy Kitchen located next to T-Dubs. See taffy being pulled and packaged and maybe even enjoy a warm sample while you're there.
