STUDENT FIELD TRIP TO FUN TOWN! Looking to take your students on a trip that is not only educational but also memorable? A trip to Frankenmuth is truly an educational and fun experience that your students won't soon forget! Discover the rich German, agricultural, and religious history with this Traditional Frankenmuth Experience Itinerary: Visit the Frankenmuth Historical Museum. Be sure to ask about their educational programs designed especially to engage and educate students of all ages. (Allow 2 hours, however some programs may be shorter or longer) Tour the beautiful and historically-rich St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and log cabin. (Allow 1 hour) Roll your very own German pretzel while learning all about the historic tradition at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. You can enjoy your baked pretzel after! (Allow 30 minutes) Enjoy one of our famous, traditional family-style chicken dinners or a German meal at Bavarian Inn Restaurant or Zehnder's Restaurant for lunch. (Allow 1.5 hours) Visit Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland. Be sure to catch the interesting videos they show daily on the history of the Bronner family and the store at 11am, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm. Add a little adventure to your educational tour of Frankenmuth with this Frankenmuth adventure itinerary: Tour Michigan Heroes Museum, they have over 140 displays and a collection of more than 700 exhibits, plus stories devoted to Michigan's governors, astronauts, and the nation's largest Medal of Honor collection. (Allow 1 hour) Take a step back in time at Grandpa Tiny's Farm, a working historical farm! Your tour can include anything from hands-on exhibits and learning experiences, to petting the animals. (Allow 1-2 hours) Lunch at the Frankenmuth Farmers Market. Choose one of the many educational options available. (Allow 1.5 hours) Enjoy time spent up in the trees at Frankenmuth Aerial Park! With ziplining and multiple levels of rope courses, this is a fun and energetic activity for those ages 7 and up! (Allow 2 hours) Take a ride on the gorgeous Bavarian Belle Riverboat. The hour tour is narrated, showcasing the history of Frankenmuth while you take in the sights. The boat operates May thru October and runs every 1.5 hours everyday beginning at 11am. (Allow 1 hour) Schedule a trip to the Frankenmuth Ice Rink during the winter months. Located in Zehnder Park and operated seasonally Mid- Nov thru Mid-Feb, the Frankenmuth Ice Rink is the perfect winter activity for students!
