With the exception of Snowfest
weekend, which might be one of the
most anticipated events of the year,
the winter is typically less crowded in
Frankenmuth. Restaurant wait times are
lower and the hotel availability is better
so it's a great time to visit.
Much of the seasonal décor stays up
through Snowfest and the Ice Rink
remains open through February as well.

great time to escape the snow at the

and Waterpark or Zehnder's Splash

Glide around the Frankenmuth Ice Rink.
Or cozy up on a bench to watch the action
with a dessert from one of our wonderful
bakeries and sip on some hot cocoa to
warm you up!
It's our little secret,
but coming in the winter months might be
the best time to visit Frankenmuth!
