Camping Adventure: We had a camping adventure at
Camping World.
Horse Riding: We learned about horses from Oak Lane
Equestrian.
Race Cars: We capped off our adventure at Birch Run
Speedway, learning about race cars, meeting drivers, and
even riding around the track!
Teens had weekly adventures ranging from STEM activities
with Delta College to photography workshops. Families
could bring their bikes to the library for free repairs and
lessons from the Bicycle Ministry. Adults learned about the
interurban railroad that used to be in Frankenmuth from
Nathan Seeley of the Frankenmuth Historical Museum.
Craig Bierlein from Schaefer and Bierlein taught us how to
keep our cars in top shape for summer travel, in addition to
our adult 4th Friday Crafts, gardening programs, and book
clubs.
The library is a busy place in the summer, and we love seeing
everyone. Don't forget to grab our big library card before
your summer adventures and snap some photos with it.
We'd love to see where your library card takes you! Also,
remember to check out some books and maybe a hotspot for
your travels.
Of course, all these adventures would not be possible without our summer reading sponsors.
Be sure to thank these local businesses for their suppor t the next time you visit .
