A Story of Chicken and Christmas Frankenmuth is a place where our world-famous chicken and the spirit of Christmas come together to create unforgettable memories. Both traditions are woven into the fabric of our community. Our family-style chicken dinners, served with a smile for generations, are more than just food; they are a taste of our history, and just like the magic of Christmas, they bring us together to celebrate. BRONNER'S CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND: The World's Largest CHRISTmas Store In 1945, Wally Bronner began his career in his parent's basement by painting signs. Over the first decade it evolved to include preparing displays and decorating windows to Christmas decor. From the first permanent building in 1954 to their current location built in 1977, Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland has always been more than a store; it's an experience with the collection of over 50,000 ornaments, lights, and decorations from all over the world. Did You Know?: At Bronner's, you can visit a beautiful replica of the Silent Night Memorial Chapel, a tribute to the Christmas hymn that originated in Austria. The Frankenmuth Christmas Experience The most magical time of year in Frankenmuth! Our enchanting traditions, beautiful displays, and interactive activities provide a storybook experience through the entire season. Go for a spin on the Frankenmuth Ice Rink, or tour the lights by taking a trolley or a horse-drawn carriage. You can also write a letter to Santa, or sing along to the Spectacular Christmas Tree light show at the Visitor Center. Did You Know?: The Spectacular Christmas Tree is over 44 feet tall and features 23,000 lights! 2 4 | FR A N K E N M U T H .O R G HISTORY
