The 2024/2025 sales year marked a period of continued growth for the organization. During this time, the Marketing & Sales Assistant role evolved into a Sales & Social Media Manager position, with an increased emphasis on travel, relationship-building, and representing Frankenmuth at conferences and industry events across the state. The Frankenmuth CVB was once again represented with a booth at the American Bus Association in Philadelphia. In addition, the CVB partnered with Circle Michigan and the Great Lakes Bay Region CVB to host several tour operators throughout the year for mini familiarization (FAM) opportunities. These smaller, curated visits allowed for more personalized and impactful tour experiences for participating operators. The group tour market remains strong, as demonstrated by consistent demand for itineraries, welcome packets, and ongoing group inquiries. The meetings market also continued to gain momentum throughout the year. The Sales & Social Media Manager was able to dedicate increased attention to servicing meeting groups while expanding outreach by attending additional meeting-focused conferences, further strengthening Frankenmuth's visibility and competitiveness within this segment.
