A N N U A L R E P O R T Chamber & CVB The Frankenmuth Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) held its annual meeting back in January to reflect upon the fiscal year beginning in October of 2023 and ending in September 2024. The evening was spent celebrating the successful year of the both organizations, mingling with colleagues and friends, and looking ahead to the plans of the future. While it is hard to summarize a whole year's worth of work into one evening or this article, we've compiled some of the highlights to help show what both Chamber of Commerce and CVB did during the 2023-2024 fiscal to help promote, serve, and guide our member businesses, the community and our visitors. Membership & Events 369 Members (Additionally 95+ clubs, organizations and honorary members) Gain of 29 new members, with 95% retention rate Hosted a variety of member and community events including: Visitor Center 36,196 guests greeted at Visitor Center Over 4,600 total telephone inquiries 69,900 coupon books distributed 17,525 individual Visitor Guide requests mailed 155,900 total Visitor Guides distributed Website & Social Media Group Meeting & Sales Attended: • Circle MI Annual Conference • American Bus Association (Hosted a Frankenmuth Booth AND conducted 50 Sales Appointments) • MSAE - She Leads & The Meeting and Education Summit • MiSGMP Lunch n' Learn • Destination MI Sales & Service Summit • MI Sports commission Summer Educational Seminar Distributed 7,380 Visitor Guides and 9,318 Coupon Books to groups. Community Relations • Lunch 'n Learns • Morning Mingles • 4 Business After Hour Events • 12 Ribbon Cuttings • Friday Fun Nights • Wein & Stein • Community Scoop • Peppermint Perks (44 business participants) • Sale Fest (55 community participants) • Scarecrow Fest (34 business participants) In addition to the items listed above the Chamber/CVB continued to work with community partners including the City and DDA on projects including Wayfinding and Transportation, and various State partners including Pure Michigan and MACVB on projects including Advocacy and Advertising. While the 2023-2024 fiscal year was a huge success, your Chamber and CVB is already 2/3 of the way through the 24/25 year and looking ahead at the priority for 25/26 that will be upon us soon!
