11 Facility Enhancements We renovated the staff work area to create designated workspaces for our expanding team. This upgrade improved visibility for enhanced safety, streamlined opera ons, and allowed us to provide even be er customer service. We installed a new server and updated our computers, making it easier to share documents and providing be er security for our office IT systems. Services and Programs Increased outreach through expanding our home delivery service and developing partnerships with area assisted living facili es. Hired a dedicated Adult Service and Outreach Librarian, which allowed us to expand our adult programs. Through a community partnership with the Saginaw READ program, we could offer the READ program again at the library, providing addi onal reading support for children in our community, free math tutoring, and other student services. We reduced prin ng, copying, and faxing fees and introduced a new shredding service. Grant Recipient Received over $30,000 in addi onal funding through grant opportuni es $10,000 Libraries Transforming Community grant to develop an accessibility collec on and programs $13,000 for the development of the Wickson Literacy Hub and updated furniture of the children's wing $3000 - Dollar General Youth Literacy Grant developed a special juvenile large-type collec on featuring many required reading books in our local schools and purchased ebooks and audiobooks on Libby.
