T he Frankenmuth Wickson District Library has always been more than a place to check out books. It's a gathering space, a learning hub, and a vital part of our community's story. As we look ahead, we want to make sure the library continues to reflect the needs, hopes, and dreams of the people it serves - and that includes you. We're inviting all community members to participate in our Strategic Planning Survey, a key part of shaping a thoughtful plan for the next three to five years and casting a bold, community-driven vision for the next quarter-century. Whether you're a weekly visitor or haven't stepped through our doors in a while, your feedback matters. Why We're Asking for Your Input The library has always adapted to meet the needs of Frankenmuth. From storytimes and book clubs to public computers and community events, we aim to serve residents of every age and interest. Now, as we plan ahead, we want to make sure we're investing in what matters most to you. Your feedback will help guide decisions about: • What types of programs and events we offer • What resources and materials are most useful to you • How our building and spaces can better serve the community • How we can stay inclusive, welcoming, and relevant for everyone Even if you don't currently use the library, your perspective is valuable. This is your library and your voice can help shape its next chapter. Looking Ahead: Challenges and Opportunities Like many well-loved community buildings, our facility is beginning to show its age. Major systems like the roof and HVAC are nearing the end of their life span. At the same time, the demand for library services is growing. That's why this moment is so important. We're asking: • What will Frankenmuth need in the next 5, 10, or even 25 years? • How can the library grow with our community? • What kind of space will serve the next generation? Your ideas will help us make smart, community-driven decisions about the future of our library's services and spaces. A Library for All Today's library is a place to read and learn - but also so much more. We provide: • Early literacy programs for young learners • Creative and engaging activities for tweens and teens • Lifelong learning opportunities for adults • Free access to technology including Wi-Fi, printing, and digital resources • Community partnerships and meeting spaces for local groups • We believe that everyone in our community should feel welcomed, supported, and inspired by what they find at the library There's Still Time to Share Your Voice We have extended our Strategic Planning Survey to ensure more community voices are heard. If you haven't taken it yet, there's still time. It only takes a few minutes and your input will help shape the library's future. • Complete the survey online at www.wicksonlibrary.org • Scan the QR code on the graphic • Or stop by the library for a printed copy Whether you visit us weekly or have not been in for years, we truly want to hear f rom you.
