The Great Lakes Bay Frankenmuth Sports Complex is not just a building — it's an investment in the next generation, and a celebration of what makes our community so special" The Complex is anticipated to have a budget of $30+ Million. Over half of the funding has been secured through a grant provided by the State of Michigan and through future room tax funds collected by the Frankenmuth CVB. A capital campaign has been launched to secure the remaining funds for the project, engaging with local businesses, philanthropic partners, and community members to help bring this transformational project to life. The CVB is working to close the funding gap through numerous sponsorship opportunities at a variety of levels, including the naming of the facility. The community can expect an opportunity to participate in a "Circle of Champions" that will be launched after the new year. There have been inspiring business leaders that have committed historically significant support for this project and as the FCVB works to close the funding gap, they welcome meetings with any business, foundation or organization that is willing to join the team as an MVP or Legacy League partner. Contact Jamie Furbush at ceo@frankenmuth.org to be a part of this transformational project. "This project represents an incredible investment in both our youth and our community's progressive and resilient future," The project is expected to break ground in 2026 and be complete by the end of 2027.
