At all levels of education, we know "it takes a village!" The Frankenmuth Schools are proud to celebrate just some of the local and regional partnerships that make extraordinary learning experiences possible for all ages, from "preK-'gray.'" Career Programs & Opportunities at Frankenmuth Schools Preschool Partnership Creates Joyful Learning Experiences List Elementary's Preschool Program is grateful for its ongoing partnership with the Bavarian Inn Lodge and Bavarian Blast Waterpark, made possible through the support of Michael Keller Zehnder, President and fourth-generation owner. Through this collaboration, preschool students have enjoyed memorable field trips that combine fun with meaningful social and experiential learning. Visits to the Lodge and waterpark provide opportunities for students to build friendships, practice independence, and celebrate milestones together in a welcoming community setting. At the end of the year, students and families have the chance to enjoy arcade games, putt-putt, and a special buffet celebration. These experiences create lasting memories and strengthen connections between our schools and the broader Frankenmuth community. Preschool staff members also appreciate Michael Keller Zehnder's enthusiasm and willingness to help bring creative ideas to life. His support, along with that of sister and Vice-President Martha Zehnder Kaczynski, helps ensure that List Elementary preschool students feel valued and celebrated. We are truly thankful for this partnership and the warm hospitality extended to our youngest Eagles. Career Exploration and Opportunities Abound! In March, all three FSD buildings hosted Career Fair Events, geared toward the learners at each level. Increasing awareness of the many paths available is the goal at List Elementary, and Career Day offers our littlest Eagles the chance to check out a variety of jobs in a number of fields. At EFR, the focus shifts to career field exploration, with more focused opportunities to dig into what different careers entail. EFR's Career Fair provides students a chance to get up close and spark their interest in jobs and pathways. Frankenmuth High School partners with the Frankenmuth Chamber of Commerce to annually provide the "Work-Based Learning and Summer Jobs Fair." This event invites local businesses looking for summer employees and/or 2026-27 school year Co-Ops and Interns. FHS' culminating event in career exploration is the annual Senior Symposium when FHS' seniors share their experiential learning that was completed as part of their AP/English 12 Senior Project. None of these events would be possible without the support and participation of numerous businesses and individuals who are incredibly generous in sharing their time and expertise! 10
