We have an exclusive new fundraising event planned as well as our traditional golf outing and it is the season of Business After Hours! Meanwhile, your Board of Directors is hard at work beginning to plan for the future. We have had nearly 90 responses to the membership survey that was sent in early June and this feedback will help the Board to think strategically about the needs of the community as well as the role of your Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau. Our mission is clear "To promote Frankenmuth and the prosperity of all businesses through a unified organization" and it reminds us to evolve with the changing needs of our members, community and visitors. It is a great responsibility to build upon the solid foundation of past leaders that created a strong community and attractive destination. Either way, it's a time of year that just feels like great things are happening...and they are! We are excited to have our second season of Friday Fun Nights off the ground. If you haven't made it downtown on a Friday night yet, I encourage you to do so with extended hours (6-9pm) this year. This amazing community-focused effort wouldn't be possible with the generous contributions from more than 50 businesses! The locals and visitors alike are enjoying our downtown every Friday because of the spirit
