The Frankenmuth Chamber of Commerce
and Convention & Visitors Bureau has reaffirmed its position to oppose amendments to the Michigan Constitution via ballot proposals. This is the job of the legislators and our state should not allow special interest groups to circumvent the people we have elected to make laws by means of statewide ballot initiatives. Thus, the Frankenmuth Chamber of Commerce and CVB oppose 2012 ballot proposals 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
To be clear to our members and all voters, the organization encourages a NO vote on proposals 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. The organization does support proposal 1, which does not impact our state's Constitution.
