At the top of our sinking
fund projects in 2015 –
Updated bathrooms at
Frankenmuth High School.
Leveraging
similar
projects
to
curb
costs,
the
Frankenmuth
School
District
updated
the
track
and
tennis
courts
during
the
Summer
of
2018.
Community
members
expressed
interest
in
adding
lines
to
play
pickle
ball.
The
sinking
fund
also
supports
parking
lot
renovations.
It
was
time
to
replace
the
existing
boiler
at
E.
F.
Rittmueller
Middle
School.
Four
smaller
efficient
boilers

the
system
into

A Photo Story
Each
sinking
fund
project
begins
with
one
of
three
criteria
–
safety,
energy
efficiency,
and
repair.
While
most
people
noticed
the
bleachers,
floor
or
lighting
in
the
gym,
the
crane
stopped
everyone
in
their
tracks
as
it
placed
the
new
HVAC
unit.
The
sinking
fund
also
provides
for
improvements
to
classrooms.
Opened
in
1979,
the
band
room
at
E.F.
Rittmueller
had
original
carpeting
and
instrument
lockers.
During
the
Summer
of
2018,
easier
to
maintain
flooring,
acoustical
panels,
lighting
and
updated
instrument
lockers
were
installed
in
the
Band
Room.
Originally
installed
when
the
high
school
gym
was
completed
in
1973,
the
bleachers
required
much
attention.
