A Message from Brandon Muller, School Board President We have something really special here in our community, and we have so many reasons to be proud and to celebrate our successes. Among those many reasons is the strength of our schools. The Frankenmuth School District is consistently rated one of the top public school districts in the State of Michigan and has received state and national accolades and acclaim. Our students have access to exceptionally-trained faculty, an award-winning academic curriculum, outstanding opportunities in the arts, a broad array of co-curricular and athletic programming, and state-of-the-art technology and facilities. Certainly the success of the Frankenmuth School District can be attributable to our innovative administrators, who have structured a high- level learning environment using what most recognize as a "shoe string" operating budget. Another important attribute is our talented group of educators and other staff members, who truly care about our students as they would their own children and go above and beyond their job requirements on a daily basis. Also contributing to the success of our district is our school board, which sets policies and makes sound financial decisions to further the district directive of "High Academic Achievement and a Place for All." BUT... The single most important factor that drives the success of the Frankenmuth School District is our community. Throughout our history, the members of our community have always shown tremendous support for our students and our district. As a direct result of this continued support, the Frankenmuth School District has earned a place among the most elite districts in the State of Michigan. The district thrives because parents set high expectations for their children and stress the value and importance of education. It thrives because business and community leaders are engaged in the growth of our students through collaborative partnerships and generous contributions. It thrives because all community members – those with children in Frankenmuth schools and those without, those that have attended Frankenmuth schools and those that have not – take great pride in the Frankenmuth School District and view it as a civic duty to support our students and our district. Members of our community recognize that strong schools lead to a strong and vibrant community, and vice versa. Strong schools are the key to attracting families and businesses to Frankenmuth. They increase residential property values and are essential to the quality of life in our community. Strength in our schools creates strength in our future. By efficiently and effectively educating our future leaders, we preserve the legacy left to us by prior generations and we ensure that the rich heritage of our community will continue for generations to come. On behalf of the Frankenmuth School District, we extend our sincerest gratitude to each member of this wonderful community for your continued support.
