2 city-wide information drops to over 5,000 residents Our Sales role is split between servicing group tours and meeting planners while also supporting Community Relations. When events came to a halt overnight, the Community side of the role instantly bloomed. In the beginning of the pandemic, a desire for a portal to help the Frankenmuth Community grew. Muth Serves was created in the onset of the pandemic and was there to help with tasks when people couldn't leave their house, with assistance when they needed a little extra financial help, and with getting information safely to every house in the community. This volunteer portal has been a great resource this year! It is something that will be used in the years to come for community needs, including our festivals and events. This year we were also able to put together a group of Frankenmuth Festival and Events organizers. We have met three times so far and will continue to meet a few times a year to share ideas and to stay in communication about the Festivals and Events happening in town. As events shifted and even canceled this year, we looked ahead to Christmas. The Frankenmuth Christmas experience was born to help add a little extra cheer to the year in a safe and new way! This multi-year plan was designed to help create a cohesive Christmas design throughout town, to involve business participation, and to engage the Frankenmuth community in the process. From Muth Serves, to festivals and events, to Christmas – the Community Relations role blossomed into an integral piece of the 2019-2020 fiscal year. It has helped keep the businesses, community, and visitors involved and informed.
