11 RITTMUELLER MIDDLE SCHOOL PROJECTS E.F. Rittmueller Middle School has three projects that make up about 14% of the bond. These projects revolve around a Media Center addition and turning two spaces into Strategic Learning Centers that can be used by our students, staff, and community. The total estimated cost of these projects is $2,072,850. • EFR Media Center Addition – The Media Center addition will be built off of the northeast doorway expanding into what is currently the soccer practice facility. The goal of this project is to provide teachers and students an efficient and flexible facility for both teaching and research with multiple tools. The setting will be designed to work effectively for whole class and small group teaching needs. The cost of this project is $1,031,800. • EFR Convert Existing Media Center into Strategic Learning Center – This project redesigns the current media center into small group intervention setting, a technology lab, office space for specialists, and serves small group meeting needs. The cost of this project is $206,125. • EFR Remodel of Industrial Tech Room into Training Center – This project will repurpose the old technology lab at EFR into a meeting and training center. Currently the room is used for storage and has little use. The goal of the project is to create a lab and formalized meeting facility for the district that can be used as a student lab, staff presentation area, and community education facility. The cost of this project is $125,000. • EFR Furniture and Equipment to support Media Center and Training Center – The purchase of furniture to support the Media and Training Center projects will cost $109,925 • EFR Security Entrances – EFR Middle School has two entrances that will be addressed as well as an office relocation and remodel of the existing office. The estimated cost of these projects is $600,000.
