15 As we celebrate a year of heartwarming moments and community connection, our Adult Sensory Story Time program stands out as a shining example of the remarkable experiences that happen within the walls of our library. Every third Friday of the month, Beth Emmons, along with special community guests, come together to provide a truly enriching program that has captured the hearts of our participants. When we embarked on this journey, we recognized a vital need in our community. Our goal was clear: to offer a space for individuals of all abilities to come together, enjoy, and connect through the magic of storytelling. What we've witnessed in the past year has been nothing short of remarkable. Adult Sensory Story Time quickly became one of our most well-attended programs, bringing joy and enrichment to all who join us. Our program topics have been as diverse as our wonderful participants. From learning about rabbits to exploring the wonders of pumpkins, delving into the world of music, and so much more, every session promises something new and exciting. Each gathering is carefully curated to be an immersive experience, blending the power of stories, music, crafts, and delightful snacks. We owe a debt of gratitude to our community partners who make this program even more special. The Popcorn Wagon generously provides the delicious snacks that participants eagerly anticipate every month, while the United Methodist Church contributes with fidget blankets, enhancing the sensory experience for everyone and our special guest each month who shares their expertise. If you've been inspired by this program and have ideas to share, we welcome your participation. This program thrives on the diversity of voices and talents in our community. Reach out to Beth Emmons at the library, and let's continue creating moments of joy, connection, and enrichment together. As we mark the one-year anniversary of Adult Sensory Story Time, we are filled with gratitude for the impact it has had on our community. It's a testament to the power of inclusivity, storytelling, and the incredible individuals who make our library a place where everyone belongs. Here's to many more years of creating enriching moments! Creating Enriching Moments: Adult Sensory Story Time Turns One By Michelle Duclos
