convention groups as well and also hosted an international
media familiarization tour.
Our marketing efforts continued to be diverse and robust
attracting millions of visitors to our destination. We've
worked on research and planning for some large projects
that take us into the 2023/2024 year including evaluation of
the chamber facilities and future needs, continued work on
the sports complex development, website and CRM system
updates and the launch of the new
FrankenmuthLiving.com website that will host a community
calendar and offer great opportunities for our members to
engage and work together. This new asset is thanks to a
partnership with the Frankenmuth Community Foundation.
We have also been a very active partner in the hosting
of the Memorial Cup in Saginaw that will leave a lasting
impression on millions of viewers as our region hosts its
first major televised international sporting event.
The private investments that are continuing to be made
in our community help ensure that while some have
speculated about a slowing economy as we head into an
election year, Frankenmuth will remain strong economically.
As the Chamber and CVB, we will continue to engage in
conversations on how to support our business community
with issues related to our workforce such as housing,
childcare, and transportation so we can build opportunity to
grow rather than rolling back hours available to the public.
The future is indeed exciting in Frankenmuth and we look
forward to helping our members and partners build the next
generation of a community rooted in faith, family and our
Franconian courage!
