5 NEW MEMBERS We saw a gain of 21 members, from in and around Frankenmuth. In August 2024 the Chamber & CVB hosted a "Membership Drive," offering special packages and incentives to more than 20 potential members in an effort to increase organizational growth. This drive saw a return of 10 new members between the months of July and September. Member retention was consistent at 98%, up from the previous fiscal year. Please see the next page for a complete list of new members. EVENTS & HAPPENINGS • The Annual Chamber Kickoff Dinner was held at Zehnder's of Frankenmuth, and more than 200 members enjoyed dinner, camaraderie, and the Chamber's FIRST ever night of Music Bingo! • The Birdie Bash Golf Outing featured a beachy two-day event, including the traditional scramble, a par 3 challenge, a family-friendly putt-putt event, and loads more of tropical fun! Over 250 golfers showed up in their "Buffett" best, and helped make this event the Chamber's most successful fundraiser of the year. Thank you to everyone who sponsored and participated! • The Chamber hosted Morning Mingles on topics relevant to our members and community, including Public Safety Preparedness, the new Social District, and a Lunch N' Learn about the Memorial Cup. Our most successful events and promotions include the revamped "Birdie Bash" golf outing, "Morning Mingles" and "Lunch 'n Learn" gatherings, continued printing and marketing of annual publications such as the "Bavarian Bargains Coupon Book," and so much more.
