6 PROMOTIONS & PROGRAMS • IT'S BACK! Wein & Stein returned on June 19th, 2024, and had more than 575 participants! The Chamber and Promotions Committee worked closely with restaurateurs and business owners, changing both the time of year and cost to participate as to better accommodate our members. • Community Scoop collaboration with the Frankenmuth Community Foundation was hosted at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant on February 22nd, 2024, and more than 20 nonprofit clubs and organizations were represented. Over 60 Frankenmuth residents and locals got the "scoop" on what organizations had planned for the coming year. • Peppermint Perks is a favorite of both visitors and locals and in December 2023, featured $5 off a purchase of $30 or more for the first time. The change in price came after discussions with our participating businesses, and considering inflating costs of goods. 44 local businesses participated in this promotion, and 50,000 copies were distributed across the state, making it our largest promotion of the year! • Sale Fest drew in visitors from all over the midwest, and a total of 55 residences and businesses participated with a sale. • Scarecrow Fest had 34 participants throughout downtown, and each display was more creative than the last.
