Community R E L A T I O N S In 2024-2025 the Frankenmuth Ice Rink opened its doors for its fourth season on November 19th, 2024 and operated until March 2nd, 2025. Building off of the consistent success of the first three years, the Frankenmuth CVB saw continued fruits of its investment of the purchase of the entire rink system in 2022, an investment that will support the Frankenmuth Christmas Experience for years to come. The fourth season was another very successful one, seeing over 16,000 skaters, the fourth consecutive year hitting this mark, and selling 517 season passes to locals, our highest number yet. Concession sales continued to be a hit (while bringing in extra revenue), especially hot chocolate, selling over 1,375 cups throughout the season. The addition of renting skate helpers brought in an extra $10,300 of revenue. Just like the first three seasons, this season could not have been possible without the support of our 28 advertising partners, including our premier sponsor Huntington Bank, who has been a premier sponsor since year one, and of course every person that put a blade on the ice! In 2024 we celebrated the fifth year of The Frankenmuth Christmas Experience. Launched in 2020 as a three-year plan, the campaign expanded Christmas experiences across the season with the Spectacular Christmas Tree in 2020, the Frankenmuth Ice Rink in 2021, and German décor elements in 2022. We did not add any new elements in the 2023 season, but in 2024 we added Frankenmuth's FIRST drone show for the Frankenmuth Christmas Experience Kickoff event. The Christmas guide and map continued to be an important tool for promoting the season and we worked with the DDA and City Beautification Committee to help streamline the decoration installation process. The 2024 Christmas season was a magical success and showcased the incredible support and spirit of our community! As the warm weather came, so did the Egg-Splore Frankenmuth Egg Hunt, back for its 4th consecutive year. This year 30 businesses participated to hide 342 eggs over the 6 day event, bringing joy to all the hunters in the spring season! Friday Fun Nights returned for its 13th year, seeing a total of 101 performances by 54 performers/groups over its 15-week run. The generous donations from 32 supporting businesses made this very successful year possible. The Frankenmuth Shuttle Service operated for its fourth season every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from July 26th-December 29th. Over these months it transported a total 5,339 riders, helping to reduce congestion and move people around during our busiest seasons of the year! 12 45 Stop & Snap Locations 1,461 Stop & Snap Challenge Downloads 30 Businesses in Christmas Guide 49 Christmas Experience Partners 1,801 Santa Letters 1,335 Santa Postcards Sent 2,629 Christmas Shuttle Riders 2024
